This one day event is being held on July 16, 2008 on the Gold Coast in beautiful Queensland.  Please note that the user meeting is also time-aligned with the Qld SIS conference* being held on the Gold Coast from the July 17, 2008.

Please join us to see, hear and discuss with Definiens users from all across Australia about the latest applications, experiences and news related to image analysis challenges in earth sciences.

The agenda includes speakers from industrial, governmental and academic centers who will share some of their research and commercial work based on Definiens object-oriented image analysis software.

Brief summary of the event:

Morning Session
9am - Technical workshop about applying ruleset development methodologies and show you some new aspects of future 3D image analysis.

Join us for Lunch from 12.00

Afternoon Session
1pm – User session about applications and desktop processing. In the afternoon we continue with user sessions about production stage processing before moving to complete solutions for specific purposes. Finally, an open Q&A session will allow everyone to synchronize on technical and other topics.

Networking Session
5pm – Join us for drinks and nibbles so that you can exchange ideas and contacts with other users.

Registration for the day is free, however numbers are limited for sessions and registrations must be received by the July 7, 2008.
