TMA Grid Assignment and Composer Region Detection

Automatic core detection and grid matching are simple tasks using Definiens software, both for fluorescence and bright field TMA slides. Each core can be analyzed in detail – for example, by using the automatic region detection of the Composer software, which is implemented as an easy-to-use, learn-by-example tool. Within these automatically detected regions, like the tumor regions shown in red in this example, an automatic analysis of cellular and sub-cellular components is performed.
