Automatic Tumor Detection in H&E

This example illustrates the automatic detection of tumor cell populations using Definiens Composer. The left side of the picture shows a part of the original H&E slide, the right side shows the results of the automatic tumor region detection, with the tumor regions colored in orange. The Definiens Composer technology is implemented as an easy-to-use, learn-by-example tool, and can be applied to H&E and IHC-stained tissue slides as well as images with fluorescence labels.
