We will participate or exhibit at the following events and speaking engagements:
| Jul 16 - 16, 2008 |  Definiens User Meeting, Australia
Discuss with Definiens users from all across Australia about the latest applications, experiences and news related to image analysis challenges in earth sciences. Speakers from industrial, governmental and academic centers will share research and commercial work based on Definiens object-oriented image analysis software.
This one day event takes place in the Crown Plaza Surfers Paradise, 2807 Gold Coast Highway, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217 - time-aligned with the Qld SIS conference. Registration is free, however space is limited - please register online by July 7, 2008.

GEOBIA is a sub-discipline of Geographic Information Science devoted to developing automated methods to partition remote sensing (RS) images into meaningful image-objects, and assessing their characteristics through spatial, spectral and temporal scales. Its applications range from agriculture and natural resource management, to national defense and global climate change. GEOBIA 2008 will be held at the University of Calgary (UofC), Alberta, Canada. |
