TOPIM stands for 'hot TOPics in molecular IMaging'. TOPIM 2010 is a one-week workshop organized by the European Society for Molecular Imaging (ESMI) and the European Network of Excellence DiMI. The annual event covers various aspects of research in Molecular Imaging. Definiens will Be represented by Dr. Maria Athelogou giving a presentation on "Multimodal Image Data Analyis and Quantification". Medizinische Bildverarbeitung ist die Schlüsseltechnologie zur modernen bildgestützten Diagnostik und Operationsunterstützung. Seit 1993 treffen sich die deutschsprachigen Bildverarbeiter auf Bildverarbeitung für die Medizin. Ziel des Workshops ist die Darstellung aktueller Forschungsergebnisse und die Vertiefung der Gespräche zwischen medizinischen sowie technischen Wissenschaftlern, Industrie und Anwendern.

Die Themen des Workshops umfassen dabei alle Bereiche der medizinischen Bildverarbeitung, insbesondere Algorithmen, Hard- und Softwaresysteme sowie deren klinische Anwendung. Der Kongress findet im Universitätsklinikum der RWTH Aachen statt

The European Congress of Radiology  (ECR)  is one of the largest medical meetings in Europe and the second-largest radiological meeting in the world. Participants include radiology professionals, technichians, radiographers and industry representatives.
