Definiens Appoints VP Business Development & Marketing to its Worldwide Management Team | Munich – July 18, 2005: Definiens, a leading provider of advanced image analysis solutions, has announced the appointment of Dr Neil Dey as its Vice President of Business Development & Marketing. The role is significant because it is the first of multiple planned moves to prepare the company for significant growth in the Americas and Europe throughout 2005 and 2006.
In this role Mr. Dey will be responsible for overall marketing and business development initiatives, including sales, marketing and product development. He will also oversee the design and implementation of its corporate development program aimed at increasing revenue, growing market share and ensuring a strong competitive advantage.

Mr. Dey studied and holds degrees from universities and research centres in Cambridge/UK, Hungary and India. He brings to Definiens over 12 years of experience and in-depth knowledge in business development and marketing of the Life Sciences industry.
Mr. Dey joins Definiens from Bioimagene, Inc., where he held the position of VP Business Development. He previously served as Head of Business Development at Impath, Inc. and has also held senior executive positions at Genmethrax, Inc., Thomas Jefferson Medical University, and Ciba-Geigy (Novartis) Switzerland. |
