Definiens Announces eCognition Training Schedule in North America for 2006


Boulder, CO – December 14, 2005: Definiens, a leader in advanced image intelligence solutions, is pleased to announce it's schedule for eCognition training courses in North America for 2006.

Course dates have been set for:

Boulder, CO:
March 20 - 23, 2006
October 16 - 19, 2006

and Boston, MA:
July 17 - 20, 2006

The training courses are a 2 day course for the Basic Seminar and a 2 day course for the Advanced Workshop. eCognition Basic and Advanced training courses, taught by Definiens authorized instructors, introduce participants to the upcoming version eCognition Professional 5.0™ and provides the foundation for becoming a successful eCognition user. The Basic Seminar covers fundamental concepts of object-oriented image classification and eCognition. Participants learn how to load data, segment satellite images, and apply eCognition's supervised and rule-based classification. The Advanced Seminar builds upon the knowledge gained in the eCognition Basic Seminar and covers advanced functionality of eCognition.
