Gregory Calaman joins Definiens as Vice President Customer Services North America

Munich, Germany – June 1st, 2006: Definiens, a leader in advanced image intelligence solutions, today announced that Greg Calaman has joined the company as Vice President Customer Services North America. Based in New Jersey, Mr.Calaman will be responsible for all North American customer services activities, including an organizational build-up phase and intensive customer engagement ventures with Pfizer, Lockheed Martin and the NGA.
Mr. Calaman brings to the role broad business experience in enterprise software, information technology, general management, and life sciences. Most recently at Pfizer, he was responsible for large scale IT program delivery, internal customer relationship management, and the portfolio management of large scale IT investments.

Previously, Mr. Calaman founded and ran iArmor, Inc. – a company that sought to bring to market a physiological monitoring and accelerated emergency response service for mainstream cardiovascular disease and the first ever continuous stream of physiological data on an at-risk population captured in a non-clinical setting. Before iArmor he served as the Northeast US Regional Director of Professional Services for BEA Systems, joining the company pre-IPO and building a multi-million dollar services business from scratch.
